These virus trading cards visualize the structure of the viral capsid - the protein shell protecting the genetic material inside a virus. To design the cards I used UCSF Chimera, a molecular modeling program.
For each trading card, I included two different views of the virus - one at a coarse structural level on the left, and one with more detail on the right. I also designed a spinning icosahedron to emphasize the symmetry of each virus, as well as a spinning disk of rays for decoration.
